The Dwight Center’s LEED Scorecard - The Dwight Center for Research and Education at Pepperwood, scheduled for occupancy this spring, is expected to achieve LEED Gold level certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. Pepperwood Appoints Dr. Lisa Micheli as Executive Director - The board of the Pepperwood Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Lisa Micheli as Pepperwood Preserve's Executive Director. A Switzer Environmental Leader since 2002, Micheli brings with her over 20 years of experience in environmental research, policy, and community conservation program development.

Pepperwood Preserve Field Trips - Teachers, do something different for your field trip this year: take your students on an educational nature hike in Sonoma County! Enrich your science classroom curriculum with classes geared towards forest ecology, pond ecosystems, food webs, and life cycles. These 3-hour classes are being offered for children in grades 1-6, and are tailored to meet the needs of each grade level’s science standards. Click here for a PDF with more information.
